Qualifications
- M.A. in Economics with a minimum 55%
- NET/SET or Ph.D. in the relevant subject as per UGC norms
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, are exempt from NET/SET if they meet all the following conditions: Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners
- Open viva voce conducted
- At least two research papers published (one in a refereed journal)
- At least two conference/seminar presentations supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies
- Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the PG level

Pay Scale
- Consolidated salary of ₹25,000/- per month or
- ₹500/- per hour
