Qualifications and Experience

A. Eligibility Criteria (for Indian or equivalent degrees):

1. Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject from an accredited university.
2. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC/CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SET, or hold a Ph.D. as per the UGC regulations (2009 or 2016 amendments) exempting NET/SET.

Candidates with a Ph.D. registered before July 11, 2009, are exempt from NET/SET requirements, provided they fulfill the following:

• Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
• Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
• Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
• Published two research papers from Ph.D. work, with at least one in a refereed journal.
• Presented two papers based on Ph.D. work at recognized conferences.

B. Ph.D. from a Recognized Foreign Institution:

A Ph.D. degree from a foreign institution ranked among the top 500 in global university rankings by:

• Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
• The Times Higher Education (THE)
• The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Candidate Profile

• UG/PG degree in the relevant discipline with a solid academic record.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and guiding students.
• A good research record is essential.

Pay Scale

Academic Level 10: ₹57,700 - ₹1,82,400 per month
