The University of Calicut (UoC), established in 1968, is the largest university in Kerala in terms of the number of affiliated colleges and degrees awarded. Located in the Malabar region, it serves several educationally backward districts. The university operates under the Calicut University Act 1975 and has 34 post-graduate departments and 406 affiliated colleges. Qualifications Required for Assistant Professor Role
- M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Calicut with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
- NET/PhD in the relevant subject.
Candidate Profile
- Completed postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline.
- Dedication and discipline in work.
- Strong communication skills.
Pay Scale
- Rs. 1,700 per session of one and a half hours.
- Maximum monthly remuneration: Rs. 42,000.
