VVCE is a distinguished engineering institution in Karnataka, established in 1997. VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.

It is approved by AICTE & UGC, New Delhi, and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The institute offers seven undergraduate programs, three postgraduate programs, and nine research centers for Ph.D. studies, with a student body exceeding 3,200.
