The University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law invites applications for one or more Visiting Professors of Law for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, tenure-track position is part of the university’s ongoing recruitment initiative to attract high-caliber legal educators. Selected candidates may be appointed for one or two semesters, depending on availability and institutional needs.

Position Description:
The Rosenberg College of Law seeks legal scholars or practitioners with expertise in one or more of the following (but not limited to) areas:
- Constitutional Law
- Civil Procedure
- Business Law
- Criminal Law
- Property Law
- Legal Writing
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching one or more law courses during the academic year
- Supporting legal scholarship and academic service
- Engaging with law students through mentoring and classroom instruction
Qualifications:
Required:
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Experience in teaching or practicing law in relevant subject areas
Preferred:
- A demonstrated record of high academic achievement
- Prior law school teaching experience

Commensurate with experience and academic qualifications
