Essential Qualifications:
For PGT:
- Two-year integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT) in the concerned subject; OR
- Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
For TGT:
- Four-year Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education (NCERT) with at least 50% marks; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Emoluments:
- PGT – ₹27,500/-
- TGT – ₹26,250/-
- PRT – ₹21,250/-
