Part-Time Faculty in Online MS-SSEM at Eastern Kentucky University

Position Description:

Selected candidates will be part of a teaching team delivering graduate-level instruction in safety, security, and emergency management for EKU’s online MS-SSEM program. Responsibilities may include:

  • Facilitating online coursework and discussions
  • Evaluating student performance
  • Supporting academic integrity and program learning outcomes
  • Engaging with students through digital platforms

Applicants are placed into an active hiring pool and will be considered as openings arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution
  • Minimum of 18 graduate-level hours in a related field

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Part-Time (Less than 20 hours per week)
  • No benefits
  • Non-driver position classification
  • Not eligible for retirement benefits
  • Remote/online instruction only
