Job Description

The Central University of Karnataka (CUK), Kalaburagi, has released a recruitment notification for Teaching Faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science for the 2025–2026 academic session.   • Contract (Temporary basis – one semester only)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications (Any one of the following):

  • B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent.
  • B.E. / B.Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.
  • Graduation (3 years) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with First Class or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience after MCA.
  • Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations.
  • Ph.D. candidates registered prior to July 11, 2009, are exempt from NET/SET, subject to additional conditions (thesis evaluation, viva voce, research publications, and seminar presentations).
  • Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 globally (QS, THE, or ARWU rankings) is also acceptable.

Job Location

Pay Scale

  • Rs. 40,000/- per month for candidates with UGC/CSIR-NET.
  • Rs. 45,000/- per month for candidates with UGC/CSIR-NET and Ph.D.
