Job Description

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Polytechnic of Agriculture, RARS, Tirupati, has announced its recruitment notification. The university invites eligible candidates for the positions of Teaching Associate and Teaching Assistant through a walk-in interview.

Organization Profile

The Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) was established on 12th June 1964 at Hyderabad and was formally inaugurated on 20th March 1965 by Late Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of India. Another milestone was the inauguration of the university building programme by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi on 23rd June 1966.

The university was later renamed as Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University on 7th November 1996 in honor of Acharya Nayakulu Gogineni Ranga – a renowned parliamentarian, freedom fighter, kisan leader, and educationist who dedicated his life to farmers’ welfare.

Essential Qualifications

For Teaching Associate

  • Ph.D. in the relevant subject OR Master’s Degree.
  • Master’s degree with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
  • All qualifications must be from ICAR-accredited Universities/Colleges.

For Teaching Assistant

  • B.Sc (Ag) / B.Tech (Ag. Engg.) – Four years degree from ICAR-accredited Universities/Colleges only.

Job Location

Salary Details

  • Teaching Associate (Ph.D. holders): ₹67,000 + HRA
  • Teaching Associate (Master’s degree holders): ₹61,000 + HRA
  • Teaching Assistant: ₹35,000 (Consolidated pay per month)

HRA will be provided as per the existing State Government rates applicable to the location.
