The Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi, is the largest and only multi-campus language university in the world. It serves as the nodal agency for implementing Sanskrit-related policies and schemes of the Government of India, working closely with the Ministry of Education. Qualification
For Guest Faculty (Assistant Professor Grade):
- Option A:
- Acharya/M.A. (Sanskrit) or equivalent with at least 55% marks in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Cleared UGC-NET/CSIR-NET OR Ph.D. in accordance with UGC norms.
- Ability to teach through the Sanskrit medium.
- Candidates with Ph.D. registered before July 11, 2009, may be exempted from NET under specific conditions (regular mode Ph.D., external evaluation, viva, publications, and presentations).
- Option B:
- Ph.D. from a top 500 world-ranked foreign university (QS, THE, or ARWU).
- Ability to teach through the Sanskrit medium.
