Eligibility & Qualifications
Option A
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Must have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or SET.
- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement, subject to fulfilling all prescribed conditions.
Option B
- Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 Universities in QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE), or Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU/Shanghai Ranking).
Desirable Qualification
