Eligibility Criteria
Professor
- Medical: MD/MS/D.M./M.Ch. or equivalent + 11–14 years of teaching/research experience
- Non-Medical: Master’s + Doctorate + 14 years of teaching/research experience
Additional Professor
- Medical: MD/MS/D.M./M.Ch. or equivalent + 8–10 years of teaching/research experience
- Non-Medical: Doctorate + 10 years of relevant experience
Associate Professor
- Medical: MD/MS/D.M./M.Ch. or equivalent + 3–6 years of experience
- Non-Medical: Doctorate + 6 years of teaching/research experience
Assistant Professor
- Medical: MD/MS/D.M./M.Ch. or equivalent + 1–3 years of experience
- Non-Medical: Doctorate + 3 years of teaching/research experience
Pay Scale (As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
- Professor: Level 14-A – ₹1,68,900/- + NPA (if eligible)
- Additional Professor: Level 13A2+ – ₹1,48,200/- + NPA
- Associate Professor: Level 13A1+ – ₹1,38,300/- + NPA
- Assistant Professor: Level 12 – ₹1,01,500/- + NPA (with provision to move to Level 13 after 3 years)
