Educational Qualifications:

For Medical Candidates (General Discipline):

1. Medical qualification listed in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
2. Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
3. Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution after the qualifying degree (MD/MS).

For Super-Specialty Disciplines:

1. Same medical qualifications as above.
2. DM/MCh in relevant super-specialty discipline.
3. Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching/research experience in recognized institutions after DM/MCh for 2 or 5-year courses. No experience is needed for those with a 3-year DM/MCh.

For Non-Medical Candidates:

1. Master’s degree in relevant specialty.
2. Doctorate degree in a recognized university.
3. Experience: 3 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining a doctorate.

Important Notes:

• DNB candidates must provide equivalence evidence as per MCI notification dated 31.10.2018.
• Experience relaxations for SC/ST candidates will be as per DoP&T guidelines.

Salary:

• Assistant Professor: ₹ 1,42,506/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 50 years as of the closing date.
• Age Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Government Servants/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
