Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Ph.D. in Journalism, Communication, or a related field (required), UGC-NET
  2. Experience in visual media, preferably in news channels
  3. Strong research background with publications in recognized journals
  4. Previous teaching experience at the university level
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Alignment with Indian cultural values

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Journalism, Communication, and Visual Media
  • Leading research initiatives in Journalism and Visual Media
  • Mentoring students in academic, professional, and outreach activities
  • Contributing to curriculum development and innovation
  • Collaborating with faculty and participating in departmental and university service activities
  • Supporting and coordinating research within the department
