Project Title:

“Study of Fish Diversity and Socio-economic Status of the Local Community of Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.”

Monthly Fellowship:

Rs. 15,000/- per month (No HRA).

Tenure of Position:

The position is for 10 months from the start of the project or until the project’s conclusion, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Zoology, Wildlife Biology, or Conservation Ecology.

Desirable Skills:

  • Swimming skills in rivers and a willingness to work in remote forest areas.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Foundational knowledge of field surveys, taxonomy, biodiversity, and ecology.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro, SPSS, EcoStat, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
