Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants for the position of Principal must meet the following qualifications:

  1. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.
  2. A Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with evidence of published research.
  3. At least 15 years of experience in teaching, research, or administration in higher education institutions, with the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
  4. A minimum score on the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance-Based Appraisal as stipulated in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
  5. A 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates at the graduate and master’s levels.
