Job Description

The Central University of Gujarat has announced recruitment for its UPSC Coaching Centre. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Temporary/Co-Terminus Faculty positions for the 2025 academic year.

Job Description

The university seeks qualified, dedicated, and academically productive candidates with:

  • A commitment to UPSC Civil Services coaching
  • Analytical and creative teaching methodologies
  • Aptitude for research and content creation
  • Awareness of recent examination trends
  • Strong communication skills

Selected candidates will be responsible for providing result-oriented training and delivering high-quality instruction in key subjects of the UPSC syllabus.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirement:
    • A graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • The candidate must have appeared in at least three UPSC CSE Mains/Interviews with one of these core subjects as an optional:
      • History
      • Geography
      • Political Science
      • Economy
    • A minimum of two years of teaching experience in one or more of the above subjects at the graduate or postgraduate level, preferably in a reputed UPSC/GPSC Civil Services coaching center.
  • Preferred Criteria:
    • Candidates who have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam.
    • Ability to effectively teach at least 2–3 subjects from the UPSC/GPSC syllabus.

Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Pay Scale

  • Salary: ₹80,000/- per month
  • Up to 25% incentive based on performance evaluation at the end of the year (*subject to funding).
