The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya, Bihar, has announced its faculty recruitment notification for research faculty positions. Organization Profile
Established under the Central Universities Act, 2009, CUSB was initially known as the Central University of Bihar. Renamed in 2014, CUSB promotes the motto of “Collective Reasoning.” Currently operating from temporary campuses in Patna and Gaya, the university is preparing to shift to a permanent campus spread over 300 acres at Panchanpur, near Gaya.

Essential Qualifications
- Research Assistant:
- Ph.D./M.Phil./Post Graduate in Social Science or Science discipline with at least 55% marks and NET in the relevant subject.
- Field Assistant:
- Post Graduate in Social Science or Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
Desirable Skills:
- For Research Assistant:
- Knowledge of machine learning and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong computer skills, effective communication abilities, and fluency in both English and Hindi for reporting purposes.
- For Field Assistant:
- Willingness to conduct field visits and primary surveys in the Eastern Himalayan regions.
- Familiarity with the region is preferred.
Candidate Profile
- UG/PG in the relevant discipline with excellent academic records.
- Passionate about teaching jobs and guiding students.
- Strong research background.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay Scale
- Research Assistant: ₹40,000 per month (consolidated)
- Field Assistant: ₹15,000 per field visit
