Pondicherry University (PU), one of the premier central universities in South India, is located in Kalapet, Puducherry. Established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the university holds a significant place in higher education. The Vice President of India serves as the Chancellor, the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry as the Chief Rector, and the President of India as the Visitor of the University.

  • A solid research background is desirable.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs. 1500/- per lecture (up to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month).
