Organization Overview:
Pondicherry University (PU) is one of South India’s most renowned central universities, located in Kalapet, Puducherry. Established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, the university operates under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Vice President of India serves as the Chancellor, the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry as the Chief Rector, and the President of India as the Visitor of the University.

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet UGC norms for regular Assistant Professors. Preference will be given to Ph.D. degree holders.
Duration:
The selected Guest Faculty will be engaged for the academic year 2024-25 only or until the appointment of regular faculty, whichever is earlier.

Pay Scale:
An honorarium of ₹1,500 per lecture (subject to a maximum of ₹50,000 per month)
