Position Details and Requirements for IIM Raipur Faculty Recruitment:
1. Adjunct Faculty
- Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant discipline.
- Extensive teaching or professional experience with a strong academic or industry track record.
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.
- Pay Scale/Remuneration: Consolidated honorarium based on academic and professional credentials.
- Contract Period: Initial appointment for one year, renewable based on institute requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Teach specialized courses in long-duration programs.
- Participate in curriculum development, student mentoring, and institution-building activities.
2. Distinguished/Senior Fellows
- Qualification & Experience:
- Distinguished scholars, experienced professionals, or accomplished civil servants with significant contributions in their fields.
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.
- Pay Scale/Remuneration: Consolidated honorarium based on credentials.
- Contract Period: Maximum of 2 years.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in teaching, research, or policy initiatives.
- Provide thought leadership and mentor young professionals.
- Collaborate with faculty and students.
3. Faculty on Deputation
- Qualification & Experience:
- Faculty from top 10 NIRF Institutions, Ivy League Institutions, or FT-ranked institutions (below 50).
- Minimum 10 years of academic experience with notable accomplishments.
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.
- Pay Scale/Remuneration: Remuneration equivalent to their parent institution.
- Contract Period:
- Minimum 3 months; maximum 2 years.
- Requires a “No Objection Certificate” from the parent institution.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement best practices in course content, pedagogy, teaching, research, and training.
4. Chair Assistant Professor / Chair Associate Professor / Chair Professor
- Qualification & Experience:
- Faculty with proven research capability in emerging areas.
- High-impact scholarly publications and contributions to professional practice.
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.
- Pay Scale/Remuneration:
- Monthly remuneration based on the candidate’s profile (not less than current pay scale).
- Liberal research grants for specific proposals.
- Contract Period: Initial appointment for three years, renewable based on requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive research and innovation.
- Lead impactful research centers and projects.
- Publish scholarly work and engage in training and consulting.
