IIM Shillong was established with a mission to enhance management education and research in Northeast India. The decision to set up an IIM in the region was made by the Union Minister of Human Resource Development and the Chief Ministers of Northeast States during a review meeting in Shillong in June 2004.

Job Details

• Job Title: Research Associate / Teaching Associate
• Employment Type: Temporary (1 year, extendable at the discretion of the authority)

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential:
  • Master’s Degree/Professional qualification with a minimum of 55% aggregate in the relevant field
  • Research experience
• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in designing and conducting surveys
  • Coordination with various organizations
  • Writing research reports and articles
  • PhD candidates with a strong quantitative background and proficiency in survey research and experiments
  • Experience in conducting focused group discussions, interviews, and qualitative research would be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

• UG/PG in the relevant discipline with excellent academic records
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for teaching and guiding students
• Good research record

Shillong, Meghalaya

Remuneration

Consolidated pay of ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month.
