Essential Qualifications
- Educational Requirement:
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent grades in the relevant field.
- Strong academic record throughout.
- Good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in Ph.D. coursework, wherever applicable.
- Experience Requirements:
- Assistant Professor:
- Grade-II (Contract): Less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
- Grade-I (Regular): At least 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
- Associate Professor:
- Minimum 6 years of experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
- Proven research experience with Ph.D. supervision, publications, and professional achievements.
- Professor:
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 4 years as an Associate Professor.
- Demonstrated leadership in research and substantial contributions in publications, patents, and academic development.
- Assistant Professor:
Salary Structure
Pay as per the 7th CPC:
- Assistant Professor:
- Grade-II: Level 10, Basic Pay: ₹70,900
- Grade-I: Level 12, Basic Pay: ₹1,01,500
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2, Basic Pay: ₹1,39,600
- Professor: Level 14A, Basic Pay: ₹1,59,100
