Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Master’s Degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
2. NET/SLET/SET qualification or a Ph.D. (as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations).
3. Ph.D. must be in regular mode, with:
   • Evaluation by at least two examiners.
   • Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
   • Two research papers were published (one in a refereed journal).
   • Two conference/seminar presentations funded by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies.
4. Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 (QS, THE, ARWU).
