Essential Qualifications
- A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate qualification (M.D. in the relevant field) or recognized equivalent.

- Professor: Level 14-A (₹168900–220400)
- Assistant Professor: Level 12 (₹101500–167400)
