After gaining independence from Portuguese rule on 19th December 1961, Daman and Diu became a part of the U.T. of Goa, Daman, and Diu under the Government of India. With Goa attaining statehood, the U.T. of Daman and Diu was established on 30th May 1987.

Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University, as per norms.
Candidate Profile:
- Completed UG/PG in the relevant discipline with excellent academic records.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and guiding students.
- Good research record.
Job Location:
Daman and Diu
Pay Scale:
- Rs 250/- per lecture, up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
