Essential Qualifications and Experience

Professor (Consultant)

  • Physiotherapy
    • Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy (Full-time)
    • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience
    • Desirable: Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, RCI recognized qualifications, experience with multiple disabilities
  • Occupational Therapy
    • Post Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy (Full-time)
    • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience
    • Desirable: Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy, RCI recognized qualifications, experience with multiple disabilities
  • Special Education
    • Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
    • M.Ed. in Special Education (55% marks or equivalent)
    • Ph.D. in Special Education or Education with a focus on Special Education
    • 10 years of teaching experience, with 5 years in a specific disability area
    • Valid RCI registration

Associate Professor (Consultant)

  • Physiotherapy
    • Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy (Full-time)
    • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
    • Desirable: Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, RCI recognized qualifications, experience with multiple disabilities
  • Medical Science – Material & Development
    • Post Graduate Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics (Full-time)
    • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
    • Valid RCI registration
    • Desirable: Ph.D. in Prosthetics & Orthotics, experience with multiple disabilities
  • Special Education
    • Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
    • M.Ed. in Special Education (55% marks or equivalent)
    • Ph.D. in Special Education or Education with a focus on Special Education
    • 8 years of teaching experience, with 5 years in a specific disability area
    • Valid RCI registration

Pay Scale

  • Professor (Consultant): Rs. 80,000/- per month
  • Associate Professor (Consultant): Rs. 78,000/- per month
