Job Description

IIM Mumbai invites applications from eligible candidates for non-teaching contractual positions, initially for a period of one year, extendable up to two years based on performance and institute requirements.

1. Senior Manager (Career Development Services)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Pay Range: Rs. 1,45,000 – 1,75,000/- per month with additional benefits*
• Maximum Age Limit: 55 years

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications:

• Postgraduate/Degree/Diploma in Management Studies with specialization in Marketing/HR preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a large organization.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience at Pay Level-12.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team as a Senior Placement Manager or equivalent.
• Experience at IIMs/IITs or other premier institutions is an advantage.
• Candidates from the education industry and those from top 15 institutes in NIRF 2023 in Career Development Services/Placement preferred.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Understanding of job market trends and corporate sales
• Experience with CRM tools preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the institute, students, and recruiters.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners.
• Oversee the entire placement process, including campus recruitment drives.
• Assist in strategic decision-making for placement activities.

Additional Benefits

• Out-of-Campus Allowance: Rs. 15,000/month (if accommodation is not provided by IIM Mumbai).
• Annual Increment: As per institute norms.
• Health Insurance: Reimbursement up to Rs. 10,000 per year for a family of four.
• Leave Benefits: 30 days of Earned Leave and 8 days of Casual Leave per year (pro-rata basis). Unused earned leave is encashable.

2. Manager (Campus Facility)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 75,000 – 1,00,000/- with additional benefits*
• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications:

• Postgraduate/Graduate in Engineering with at least 55% marks.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in facility management, procurement, contract management, and maintenance.
• Experience leading a team is desirable.
• Candidates with administrative experience at IIMs/IITs/NITs or other premier institutions preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facilities management strategies.
• Oversee maintenance of institute facilities including classrooms, hostels, canteens, and residential areas.
• Manage housekeeping, waste management, and landscape maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support institute-level events, conferences, and convocations.

• Annual Increment: As per institute norms.

General Conditions

• No. of Posts: 02
• Consolidated Salary: Rs. 65,000 – 75,000/- per month
• Out-of-Campus Allowance: Rs. 7,000/- per month
• Maximum Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

Desirable Qualification:

• M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in handling construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution and quality control.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress.
