Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Economics with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• For Outstanding Professionals: Preferably holding a Ph.D. in relevant or allied disciplines, with a significant contribution to knowledge supported by documentary evidence, and at least 10 years of experience.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate teaching and/or research experience at a University or National-level institution.
• Proven experience in guiding Ph.D. research.

Specialization:

Specialization must align with the MoU between JNU and RBI in the field of Research in Economics and related disciplines, focusing on higher-level learning.

Job Location:

New Delhi

Candidate Profile:

• UG/PG in relevant discipline with excellent academic records.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passionate about teaching and guiding students.
• Strong research background.

Pay Scale:

• Academic Level – 14: Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200
• For retired professors or outstanding professionals, the salary will be Academic Level 14 minus pension, as per Government of India norms.
