Qualification & Experience:

• Ph.D. in relevant or equivalent disciplines is mandatory.
• First class in preceding degrees (Bachelor’s and onward) is essential.
• Educational qualifications, experience, and credit points as per Schedule ‘E’ of the NIT Statute (published in the Gazette of India on July 24, 2017).
• Degrees should be from recognized institutions (UGC/AICTE/AIU/GOI).
• Degrees from foreign universities within QS/THE World Ranking (Top 500) will be considered.
• Additional guidelines for CGPA and percentage conversions are available in Annexure-I and Annexure-II.

Candidate Profile:

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for teaching and research
• Ability to organize educational activities and events
• Track and evaluate students’ academic progress

Pay Scale:

• Professor: Pay Level 14A (₹159,100 – ₹220,200 per month)
• Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 (₹139,600 – ₹211,300 per month)
• Assistant Professor (Grade I): Pay Level 12 (₹101,500 – ₹167,400 per month)
• Assistant Professor (Grade II):
  • Pay Level 11 (₹73,100 per month)
  • Pay Level 10 (₹70,900 per month)
