Position: Assistant Registrar

Vacancies: 01 (OBC-01, Backlog vacancy) Pay Level: Pay Level – 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) Suitable for Divyang candidates:

• Low Vision
• Hard of hearing
• Locomotor disability (including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy)

Educational Qualifications Assistant Registrar Jobs

• Essential: Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience in a supervisory capacity in a Government office, university, technological institution, or a reputed organization, in the grade pay of Rs. 4600 (Pay Level – 7) or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Management / Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in handling Administrative / Legal / Finance / Stores & Purchase / Establishments matters.

General Instructions for Recruitment for Assistant Registrar at IIT Dhanbad:

1. Application Process: Submit a single PDF containing proof of all requisite educational and other qualifications.
2. Submit a single PDF of all experience certificates.
3. The applicants must possess the essential educational qualifications and experience indicated above. Non-possession of essential requirements will lead to disqualification.
4. Selection Process: The Institute reserves the right to limit the number of candidates for the selection process.
5. The final selection will be based on the performance of the shortlisted candidates in a Presentation and Interview before the Selection Committee.
6. A Written Test and Computer/other Test may be conducted as per the Recruitment Rules of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad if required.
7. Age Relaxation and Reservation: The Institute follows reservation norms as per GOI rules. Age relaxation for OBC-NCL candidates is admissible as per Government of India norms.
8. Age relaxations are also admissible for regular employees of Central/State Governments, Ex-Servicemen, Divyang candidates, etc.
9. Application Deadline: The closing date for submission of applications is 04.10.2024.
10. Applications received after the closing date or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
11. Travel Reimbursement: To-and-fro rail fare by the shortest route (limited to AC-3 tier) will be reimbursable to candidates shortlisted for Presentation and Interview, subject to submission of a claim with tickets.
12. Recruitment Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Non-refundable) through SBI collect. PwDs, Ex-Servicemen, and Female candidates are exempted from payment.
13. Legal Jurisdiction: Legal disputes, if any, will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Dhanbad only.
