The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Research Assistant under the faculty recruitment 2024 program. Organization Profile:

NIT Jamshedpur, originally established as the Regional Institute of Technology on August 15, 1960, is a premier institution in India. It was founded as part of a collaborative effort between the Government of India and the Government of Bihar, aimed at producing technical graduates of the highest standards. NIT Jamshedpur was among the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established during the Second Five-Year Plan (1956–1961), designed to foster technological leadership in the region.

Research Position at NIT:

Title: Research Assistant
Project: Identification of factors for productivity enhancement and performance excellence in SSAL

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a minimum of 60% in any discipline.
  • Proficiency in conducting surveys and research techniques.
  • Competence in MS Office.

Project Duration:

3 months (approximately)

Fellowship:

Rs. 16,000/- consolidated per month.
