The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has announced research faculty recruitment for the academic year 2024-2025. The university invites applications from eligible candidates for JRF/Project Fellow positions under a funded research project. Organization Profile
Established under the Central Universities Act, 2009, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) operates with the motto of ‘Collective Reasoning.’ The university conducts its academic activities from temporary campuses in Patna and Gaya. Soon, it will shift to a permanent campus on a 300-acre site at Panchanpur, near Gaya town.

- Inter-University Accelerator Center (IUAC) User Facility for Research (UFR), sponsoring a BTR project.
Project Title
- Effect of Ion Irradiation on Electrochemical Properties of High Entropy Materials.
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Physics (preferably in Condensed Matter Physics) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Desirable: Candidates who are NET/GATE qualified will be preferred.
- Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with a background in experimental condensed matter physics.
Candidate Profile
- Must have completed UG/PG in a relevant discipline with good academic records.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and guiding students.
- Proven research experience is a plus.
Pay Scale
- Rs. 25,000 per month for candidates with NET/GATE qualifications.
- Rs. 14,000 per month for candidates without NET/GATE qualification.
