S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, University of Delhi: Recruitment for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) Positions
SGTB Khalsa College, in collaboration with the Department of Physics & Astrophysics, University of Delhi, is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) under the ANRF-sponsored project, New Physics Signatures at Small and Large Scales (CRG/2023/008234). The project will be led by principal investigators Debajyoti Choudhury, Mamta, and Sukanta Dutta.
Position Details
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics
- Certification: Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or INSPIRE.
- Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to Quantum Field Theory and High Energy Physics.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, or FORTRAN.
- Additional Requirements:
- Selected candidates are expected to register for the Ph.D. program at the University of Delhi.

Documents Required:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): In PDF format with a detailed academic record, including a scanned copy of the mark sheet from the last qualifying examination.
- Reference Letter: One referee’s name, affiliation, email, and mobile number.
Research Associate (RA)
Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy / Astroparticle Physics. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis for evaluation are also eligible.
- Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of Deep Learning Networks or quantum algorithms is an added advantage.
Documents Required:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): In PDF format along with a list of publications.
- Statement of Purpose.
- Ph.D. Documentation: Scanned copy of Ph.D. degree or proof of thesis submission.
- Reference Letters: Two letters of reference, directly emailed by the referees.
Fellowship and Allowances
- Remuneration will be provided as per the existing guidelines issued by ANRF.

Research Themes
The project covers a wide range of research topics. Although the primary focus areas are listed below, the project is not restricted to these:
- Dynamics of fundamental forces.
- Dark matter, leptogenesis, baryogenesis, neutron stars, and physics of compact objects.
- Non-minimal theories of gravity.
- Masses of hadrons using AdS/QCD duality.
- Physics potential of ongoing (LHC) and future (FCC-hh, eh, ee, muon) colliders.
- Particle identification, data prediction, and generation using deep learning networks.
