University of Delhi – Department of Anthropology: Recruitment for ICMR-Funded Project on Mental Health
The Department of Anthropology at the University of Delhi invites applications for multiple project positions in a research study funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The study aims to strengthen and develop a continuum of care for common mental health disorders.
About the Project: The research project, funded by the ICMR, focuses on an interventional study to develop effective strategies and interventions for managing common mental health disorders, contributing to the field’s foundational knowledge and practical applications.
Project Titles and Positions Available:
- Project Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 27% HRA = Rs. 71,120
- Essential Qualifications: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree, with three years of experience or PhD.
- Desirable Qualifications: PhD with prior experience in the Anthropological field, Epidemiology, and Public Health.
- Project Technical Support-III
- Salary: Rs. 28,000 + 27% HRA = Rs. 35,560
- Essential Qualifications: Graduation (Anthropology/Psychology/Public Health) with three-year experience.
- OR
- Postgraduate in: Anthropology/Psychology/Public Health.
- Project Technical Support-I (Two Positions)
- Salary: Rs. 18,000 + 27% HRA = Rs. 22,860
- Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Anthropology or Allied Sciences.
- Desirable Qualifications: Fieldwork experience and report writing.
Type of Employment:
- These are non-medical positions based on a temporary basis for a period of one or two years, subject to satisfactory performance.
