Qualifications for MANIT Bhopal Recruitment:

1. Visiting Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor):

  • Objective:
    Eminent researchers and academicians from renowned R&D organizations or institutes of national and international importance are eligible. Candidates must have at least 15 years of professional experience.
  • Eligibility:
    • Permanent faculty from reputed institutes or retired professionals.
    • Retired faculty from MANIT Bhopal are not eligible.
  • Required Experience:
    • As per regular faculty recruitment norms (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor levels).

2. Adjunct Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor):

  • Objective:
    Academicians and researchers from national and international institutes spending short durations at MANIT Bhopal on a commitment basis.
  • Eligibility:
    • Permanent faculty from reputed institutes or retired professionals.
    • Retired faculty from MANIT Bhopal are not eligible.
  • Required Experience:
    • As per regular faculty recruitment norms (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor levels).

Remuneration

  • Visiting Faculty:
    • Professor: ₹1.2 Lakhs per month
    • Associate Professor: ₹1.0 Lakh per month
    • Assistant Professor: ₹0.8 Lakh per month
    • Pay protection for in-service candidates; for retired government servants, remuneration will be last basic pay minus pension.
  • Adjunct Faculty:
    • No salary or fee.
    • Direct expenses (e.g., travel, accommodation) reimbursed at actuals.
    • Financial support for conferences based on significant contributions to the institute’s academic program.

Contract Period

  • Initial appointment: 1 year
  • Extendable up to 3 years or 70 years of age (whichever is earlier), based on performance.
  • Multiple visits for Adjunct Faculty must be at least one week each.
