The main campus is located in Dargakona, approximately 20 km from Silchar, amidst picturesque hillocks of Northeast India. Spanning over 600 acres, it is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Essential Academic Qualifications:
    • A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  2. Eligibility Tests:
    • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC/CSIR or similar tests such as SET.
    • Candidates with a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC guidelines (2009 or 2016) are exempted from NET/SET if they meet the following conditions:
      • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
      • Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
      • Open Ph.D. viva conducted.
      • Published two research papers, one in a refereed journal.
      • Presented two papers based on Ph.D. work in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-funded conferences.
  3. Foreign Ph.D. Holders:
    • The degree must be from a top-500 ranked university as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings.
  4. Additional Notes:
    • NET/SET is not required for Master’s programs in disciplines where such tests are unavailable.

Pay Scale

  • ₹1,500 per lecture, with a maximum ceiling of ₹50,000 per month.
