Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, has released the official Guest Faculty Notification for the appointment of Guest Faculty on a purely temporary and contractual basis at its Evening Degree College, Falaknuma. The university is inviting eligible candidates for French and Russian Guest Faculty positions through a walk-in interview. Candidates possessing a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject along with NET, SLET, SET, or a Ph.D. qualification as per UGC regulations are eligible to participate. In addition, knowledge of Urdu is mandatory for all teaching posts in accordance with the MANUU Act. The selected candidates will be appointed at MANUU Evening Degree College, Falaknuma, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant or allied subject from a recognized Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Candidates should have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or SET.
• Candidates holding a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from the NET requirement, subject to UGC rules.
• Candidates possessing a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 Universities in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings are also eligible.

Urdu Language Requirement

• Knowledge of Urdu is compulsory for all teaching posts under the MANUU Act.
• Candidates should have studied Urdu at the school, intermediate, undergraduate, or postgraduate level, or should belong to an Urdu-medium educational background.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive remuneration in accordance with the UGC guidelines for Guest Faculty appointments. The appointment is purely contractual and temporary in nature.
