Department Hiring:

Position Description:
This research-intensive position focuses on:
- Linking sperm morphology to molecular profiles using advanced single-cell techniques such as TELD and scSTAMP-seq
- Investigating epigenetic reprogramming during early mammalian embryogenesis using CEL-seq, scDyad&T-seq, and scMAT-seq
- Preparing technical reports and manuscripts in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) and project partners
- Participating in regular research meetings with collaborators and stakeholders
While this is not a conventional teaching job, it aligns with UC’s mission of training and mentoring future researchers, fitting well within broader teaching positions in academia.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualification (at time of application):
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
Additional Qualifications (at time of appointment):
- At least five years of experience in bioengineering and biosciences with a focus on:
- Genomics
- Epigenomics
- Single-cell sequencing techniques
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Proven expertise in:
- CEL-seq
- scDyad&T-seq
- scMAT-seq
- TELD and scSTAMP-seq
- Stem cell and developmental biology
Salary Range:
$74,900–$87,300 (based on 100% time appointment)
