Job Title
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Department: Chemistry
- Project Title: Design and Synthesis of Novel Analogues of FNC (2′-deoxy-2′-β-fluoro-4′-azido-β-D-arabinofuranosyl cytidine) and Biological Evaluation as Anti-HBV Agents
- Sponsorship: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Essential Qualifications
- Academic Requirement: M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Additional Qualification: Must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET or GATE exams.
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic background in Chemistry.
- Proficiency in communication skills.
- Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Demonstrated research proficiency and commitment to innovation.
Desirable Qualifications
- Specialization: Organic Chemistry.
- Skills: Analytical expertise and familiarity with organic molecule characterization techniques.
- Additional Knowledge: Experience with nucleoside chemistry is advantageous.

Fellowship and Duration
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (as per norms).
- Project Duration: Up to 27th February 2025.
