Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Sciences (IGIPESS), a constituent college under the University of Delhi, invites eligible candidates for recruitment through a walk-in interview for Guest Faculty positions in Physical Education.

Guest Faculty – Physical Education

Vacancy Details:

Total Positions: 16 (Guest Faculty)

Interview Schedule:

• Date: Monday, 02.06.2025
• Time: 11:30 a.m.
• Reporting Time: 10:30 a.m. (Only candidates reporting up to 12:30 p.m. will be interviewed)
• Venue: IGIPESS, B-Block, Vikaspuri, New Delhi – 110018

Eligibility Criteria for Guest Faculty

• As per UGC Regulations, 2018, adopted by the University of Delhi.
• Candidates should not hold any other teaching assignment.
• Superannuated teachers may also apply (up to a maximum age of 70 years).
• Selected candidates may be asked to teach:
  • Theory subjects
  • Sports activities/Indigenous Games
  • Mass Demonstration
  • Sports Specialization/Computer Applications in Physical Education
  • Courses across B.Sc. (PE, HE&S) CBCS & UGCF, B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed. programs

Honorarium

• ₹1,500 per lecture
• Maximum ₹50,000 per month

Note: Guest Faculty will not be treated as regular teachers in matters like voting rights or membership in University statutory bodies.

• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
