Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Jammu & Kashmir is inviting applications from dynamic, motivated candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)-funded project in a cutting-edge research environment.
Project Overview
- Project Title: Experimental Investigation of Composite Phase Change Materials on Solar Photovoltaic Thermoelectric Generator Hybrid System for Performance Enhancement
- Project Investigator: Dr. M. Eswaramoorthy, School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU
Position Details
- Position Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Eligibility:
- M.E./M.Tech. in Thermal Science Engineering or Energy Engineering with at least 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 and above).
- B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Desirable: GATE/NET qualification.
- Fellowship: As per SERB norms
- Duration: Initially one year, with the potential for extension based on performance.
- Desirable Skills:
- Strong background in programming (preferably MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, CFD).
- Selected candidates may have the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. at SMVDU within the School of Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional Information: The recruitment will follow the guidelines established by SERB, DST, Government of India.
