- Guest, ad-hoc, or visiting roles will not be considered.

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Stage I: Academic/Research presentation before an expert committee (for all external candidates).
- Stage II: Personal Interview (only this stage for eligible serving candidates of NIT Meghalaya).

- This is an open advertisement. Any new recruitment rules or instructions from the Ministry of Education issued up to the date of the interview will be applicable.
- The number of posts is flexible based on available vacancies and approvals from MoE, GOI.
- CEI Act 2019 provisions apply for candidates who joined after 7th March 2019.
- The institute reserves the right to fix higher shortlisting criteria or cancel any part of the recruitment without notice.
