Assistant Professor (Grade-II)

• Required Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field (Ph.D. must be awarded; Submissions will not be accepted).
• Experience: Must have experience in institutes of repute in a regular position with a proper pay scale.
• Guest, ad-hoc, or visiting roles will not be considered.

• SC/ST/PWD/Women and Serving Faculty of NIT Meghalaya: Exempted from the fee

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

1. Stage I: Academic/Research presentation before an expert committee (for all external candidates).
2. Stage II: Personal Interview (only this stage for eligible serving candidates of NIT Meghalaya).

• This is an open advertisement. Any new recruitment rules or instructions from the Ministry of Education issued up to the date of the interview will be applicable.
• The number of posts is flexible based on available vacancies and approvals from MoE, GOI.
