Job Description

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya has invited applications from eligible candidates for Guest Faculty positions in the Department of Civil Engineering for the academic period from 28th July to 10th December 2025.

About the Institute

NIT Meghalaya is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India, established under the NIT Act 2007 (Amended 2012). It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance and is fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Essential Qualification

  • Ph.D. (Completed or Thesis Submitted)

Pay Scale

  • Consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000/- per month (as per institute norms)
  • No additional emoluments, medical allowances, pension, or gratuity
  • Free hostel accommodation on a shared basis may be provided, if required
