Qualifications:
Essential:
- Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as:
- M.Sc. (Statistics with Data Analytics)
- M.Sc. (Applied Statistics with Data Analytics)
- M.Sc. (Computer Science)
- M.Sc. (Computational Statistics/Mathematics)
- MBA (Business Data Analytics)
- MCA
- M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science/Data Analytics/ICT/Data Mining
- At least 55% marks in Master’s Degree (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent grade.
- NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory unless exempted through Ph.D. as per UGC norms:
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Thesis evaluated by two external examiners
- Open viva voce conducted
- Two research papers published from Ph.D. work (at least one in a refereed journal)
- Two papers presented in UGC/CSIR/ICSSR sponsored seminars/conferences
- NET/SLET/SET not required for disciplines where these exams are not conducted.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. in relevant field
- Research, teaching, or professional experience
- Publications in reputed journals
- Conference presentations
Pay Scale:
Rs. 1500 per lecture (subject to a ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per month)
