Qualification Requirements
Professor
- Option A:
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 publications in UGC-listed journals.
- 10+ years of teaching or research experience, with proof of guiding doctoral candidates.
- Option B:
- Recognized professional with a Ph.D. and significant contributions to their field, 10+ years of relevant experience.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline and Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience with 7+ publications in UGC-listed journals.
Assistant Professor
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant field.
- Eligibility Tests: NET/SLET/SET cleared or Ph.D. meeting UGC guidelines.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. from institutions in the top 500 global rankings are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
Pay Scale (7th CPC)
- Professor: Level 14 – ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
- Associate Professor: Level 13A – ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
- Assistant Professor: Level 10 – ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
