  • Project Title: Novel cell penetrating Phosphorodiamidate Morpholino Oligomer-based therapy for IBD targeting sphingosine kinase1
  • Department: School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences
  • Research Area: Synthesis of antisense oligonucleotides for biological applications on polymer support.
  • Duration: 1 year (extendable by another year)
  • Fellowship: ₹20,000 per month (including HRA)

Essential Qualifications

  • First-class or high second-class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry (Inorganic or Organic).
  • Minimum average marks: 55%.
  • Research experience in organic reactions.
  • Preference for candidates experienced in:
    • Labeling or conjugation of DNA/RNA or polymers.
    • Characterization techniques such as spectroscopy.
