Job Title:
- Adjunct Lecturer – Accounting (Spring 2026)
- Employment Type: Part-Time (8 hours/week, 0.20 FTE)
- Pay Rate: $10,000 (Per Course)
- Location: Main Campus – Tucson, Arizona, USA
- Department: School of Accountancy
Position Highlights:
- Teach ACCT 532: Innovations & Simulations in Accounting & Auditing
- In-person instruction required on the University of Arizona’s Main Campus
- Term: Mid-January to Mid-May 2026
- Course delivery via classroom and D2L course management system
- Collaboration with diverse students and faculty
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach audit and technology-related accounting concepts
- Use industry knowledge to develop course delivery
- Grade coursework and provide student feedback via D2L
- Apply innovative teaching strategies that align with school values
- Engage students through experiential and applied learning practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing
- Previous teaching or TA experience at the college level
- Experience with course management systems such as D2L
- Proven ability to provide constructive student feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated teaching excellence from an AACSB-accredited university
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
