The Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) was launched in 2003 to improve tertiary healthcare services and expand medical education across India.

AIIMS Bibinagar, established under the PMSSY and governed by the AIIMS Act, is one of the premier healthcare and teaching institutes of national importance. Located in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region (HMR), Telangana, the institute began its academic journey in 2019 with the first batch of MBBS students. Spread across 200 acres on NH-163 (Hyderabad–Warangal Highway), it serves as a hub for medical education and healthcare.

Essential Qualifications
