Job Title:

Adjunct Instructor/Lecturer – American Religious History
Employment Type: Part-Time (Adjunct)
Duration: August 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • One course during Fall Semester 2025
  • One course during Spring Semester 2026
  • Courses must be taught in person on the Cambridge, MA campus

Applicants may design courses around any topic, tradition, or time period within American religious history, including transnational perspectives.

Harvard Divinity School Adjunct Part-Time Position in American Religious History

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree required (PhD preferred; ABD minimum)
  • Prior graduate-level teaching experience
  • Commitment to engaging a multi-religious and diverse student body
  • Relevant academic publications are desirable but not mandatory

Additional Information:

  • No visa sponsorship is available for this position
